20 Minutes Does the Trick

Cardio is a heart smart tool.    The American Heart Association recommends a moderate exercise plan of 30 minutes daily 5 days per week  or vigorous exercise at 75 minutes per week.  Always start your workouts with a warm up and end them with a stretch and cool down period.  As long as your moving this can be the first and last five minutes of your 30 minutes of exercise.

Cardio can be done using a variety of tools found in gyms such as rowers, treadmills, stair steppers, versa climbers, stationary bicycles, arc trainers and ellipticals and jump ropes and undulation ropes.

Cardio can be done using bodyweight exercises like jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers, sprints or combining these movements with training styles like ‘tabata’,  ‘HIIT’ and other plyometric movements.
